My wife and I are both FF's and she is a first responder & nurse. We are considering moving to your area if we can find a farm that is sutible for our needs and budget. We are an accomplished grant writing team for our FD and will only move to an area where we can join the local FD. I would appreciate hearing from you at 715-529-7800 or at komoron@yahoo.com Kurt

I just want to say that I have the utmost respect for what you all do. YOU all are the true HEROES doing what needs to be done, when it needs to be done regardless of the consequences. GOD bless you all.

Sabattus citizens as your Fire Chief I would like to ask for your help and ideaâ??s in areas of recruitment and retention. We all understand that volunteering is a very noble act .Volunteer firefighters take time out of their busy lives to protect their community and its getting more and more challenging to give their time. Some history about the hours a volunteer must put in to be able to protect your town. Fire fighter 1 and 2 consist of 220 hrs of training. Most of which has to be done on nights and weekends. Along with meeting a long list of BLS yearly requirements. Letâ??s not forget in house training and meetings that consists of once or twice a month to keep their skills and knowledge up. We try to keep 30 on the roster for budget reason. I could go on and on about this topic. If any one would like to speak to me give me a call. Open communications is the key. Thank you Chief Therrien.

To the members of the Sabattus Fire Dept. Thanks for all your hard work. I know being a member is hard, and finding the time to give to your community is even harder. Thank for hanging in there. Officers, good work keep it up. Rome wasnâ??t built in a day. Chief Therrien
